Cool capture. Good focus, although I wouldn't mind a little wider DOF. Great expression and comp - very natural.

Nice capture, good detail.

Really wish there was a bit more DOF so the nose was also in focus. I like the darkness of the image.
03/15/2009 09:54:45 AM
great portrait - like the focus
03/15/2009 09:36:06 AM
Awesome. I love how the one eye is half open and the other is giving you a look. Great shot and great title.

maybe a bit underexposed but still nice pic

Love the clarity of seeing the eye pupil clearly keeping tabs on you!

Beautiful cat - great portrait.

I don't think you want to make him mad. Those guys have really big teeth. I love his eye contact, though. Enjoyable image.

It's a little awkward that the nose is right up front, yet the eye is the part that is in focus.

A decent portrait, colors are a little bland.
03/13/2009 08:31:27 AM
Beautiful focus on the eye. Nice detail all the way around. Good natural lighting and colors.

I found the hidden gem! Do I get extra points?

Naw. You do! ;)

Always nice to see a member of the big cats. Nicely done. Light and color looks somewhat flat.
03/12/2009 07:34:58 PM
nice DOF and catch light
03/12/2009 01:46:54 PM
I love the blurry nose going down to the sharp eyes, the DOF is great. I love how black the spots are, it's almost like it ceases to exist in those spots.

Very cute! I like how it looks like he's peeking at you.
03/12/2009 12:25:47 PM
Nice shot!
03/12/2009 09:32:06 AM
the dof does not work very well, specially on his nose, having such a predominant feature right in the center of the shot out of focus is distracting.
03/11/2009 11:47:23 PM
Needs a tad more contrast.
03/11/2009 10:11:44 PM
lol the title says it all, beautiful.
03/11/2009 09:07:42 PM
The focus on this seems off to me... With only the one eye and the whiskers in focus, it leaves me feelign cheated. Or chetah'd. *grin*

I love the 'pose' and the eyes. What I would love more is if the nose was also in focus. it just seems to distract a bit.
03/11/2009 07:38:44 PM
I like the sharpness off this cat's eyes, however would be nice to see that same sharpness with it's nose.
03/11/2009 02:00:36 PM
could have been better focused.
03/11/2009 01:28:05 PM
I really like the pov and the dof

Beautiful creature!
I don't care, though, for the tight cropping. And the nose, which is the center of the picture, is way out of focus.
03/11/2009 10:54:27 AM
nice light from the side
03/11/2009 04:24:28 AM
A nice image and I like the expression that matches the title. Slightly wider DOF would have brought both the nose and eye into focus which would have made the image easier to look at IMHO.
03/11/2009 01:58:07 AM
Just gorgeous. Nice focus on the eyes.
03/11/2009 01:40:32 AM
WOW! Nice sharp eye and the tones, comp... fab!8
