I'm not altogether sold on this one, but it is blurry and it does have pigeons! And an umbrella! So it can't be all bad.

Hi, just got me a LB last week, so perusing Zigomar's and your LB pics for inspiration.

I like this shot. I like the muted gray tones. The lone guy w/ umbrella, desolate square, and the LB blur effect, give the viewer (well, at least me) reminders/suggestions of a walk on a brisk fall day. Nice image.

This is excellent.. it does make me a little bit dizzy.. but that is what draws me into the image.. A staggard glimpse of every day life..

The pidgeons and umbrella actually do make this work! Without them, it's just a guy walking.. which isn't all that bad.. but the extras definitely add something to the mix, beings the blur points to those elements. I can't look at this too long, it kind of makes me dizzy. But it has a dreamlike feel to it.. like something out of a Bergman film!!!

Blurry. Pigeons. Umbrella. Street life, and best of all, the Melethia magic touch. All bad? Hardly. It is PERFECT!

I like your idea of necessary requirements for a photo - you forgot to add "cobblestones"! :)

If you look at the cobble stones too long, you get dizzy. I like it.

I've been for walks when thing seemed a bit blurry. I really like this. The guy walking is the only thing not blurry. Cool.

The man's isolation and the blurred of world around him make me feel he has a load on his shoulders and is out walking alone to try to figure things out.

had another look .. i particularly love how the lens gives a sense of movement somehow .. its like i'm in a moving car looking out at this scene .. we cant linger coz we've got somewhere else to go .. but just had to take a pic of the guy with the umbrella and that excellent street scene .. :)

I like this very very much! I love the sense of isolation, one person hunched under an umbrella in what one expects to be a busy street scene. The lensbaby does wonderful things to the cobblestone!

Nothing is more quintessential European than a cobblestone street and an umbrella. Loving what the lensbaby does. YES! Seriously, make a coffee table book of your street shots. They are fantastic. I like the composition and use of neg space.
