| The HDR-like treatment of this image is a little too heavy for my eyes - IMO the scene would benefit from a more delicate application of this editing style. |

| One of my favourite places! I like this composition, and the tone-mapping works well to bring out the sky as well as the land and water. It is a bit of a shame that the colour of the cottages on the harbour side has been leached out, as that is one of the aspects of Whitby that i find most charming. |

| Like looking at two pages of history at the same time! A lovely vista presented quite well and a good shot to linger with. Those structures on top of the hill are very impressive! |

| Perhaps another composition with something more dominant as the subject. Perhaps a rule of thirds composition? Great processing and light, though. |
