Processing was to crop, then duplicate the good-looking side and flip it to make a balanced face. Filters were color efex pro tonal contrast, bleach bypass, then silver efex pro high contrast green filter for b&w conversion. Did some cleanup around the top of the head to give clearer edges. Frame and texture overlay from Playingwithbrushes here and here, both in multiply mode of varying opacities. Finally, added the color curve adjustment layer from the urban acid action and adjusted down a bit. Voila, a creature
