Spotted this horse on my way out of the Nature Park after shooting waterfalls. Talk about serendipity; I had all but given up on finding a centered composition when this bit me on the nose.

I didn't have a tripod, and the clarity suffered as a result. I cleaned it up as best I could with unsharpen and a touch of brightness/contrast. Other than that, I only cropped it.

This is just too far away. too much stuff in the foreground contending for attention with the subject.

This might have been a lovely shot if I could see it better. Please take advantage of the 640 pixel max we are allowed. The horse is just to small to appreciate at this size. I like the use of the grapevine arbors as a framing device. I think maybe one would have sufficed, allowing you to move in closer to the horse. I'm not sure if you could have kept the horse dead center but it is likely you could have. In spite of the small size of your image, I gave this a 5 for its potential.

The arch nicely frames the horse. The arches to the left and right don't add anything to the photo. They could probably be cropped out and the image would still be balanced.

Horse is centered nicely, but too far away.
