I like this one - but it's a bit busy. I gather by the title that I should be looking to her, but my eye catches on her, then roams to the pole to her side, then follows the hanging across and down, then catches on the "Dulcimer" sign and follows it right out of the frame. The picture is very busy - a tighter focus on her might have helped? (So might a shallower depth but I don't see how you could get her crisp and keep all the elements that distracted blurry....) |

I like the dancer's expression, the focus and color are good. But there is too much clutter going on to really appreciate this shot. The guy playing that hammered string instrument directly behind her is the worst distraction. If you could have placed yourself at some point where you would see less going on behind her it would have helped. I would suggest cropping this shot really tightly and Photoshopping out the guy's white shirt and you'll have a really nice shot. |
