i really like the image, but im drawn more to the left so maybe a crop would help and spliting the horizon might be good

Wish the focus was better, but you still captured a great moment.

The colours and layers of colours are just fabulous.

Nice catch. Wish the background trees were sharper, but I suppose you needed speed more than DOF. Cool shot.

nice dof - the bright sun is a killer

The background blur looks very unnatural to me. I like the composition though.

About my luck in shooting deer. Wonderful color in the trees.

I might have cropped more of the dark foreground it's a little distracting to me

I have more pictures of animal/bird butts than I care to say ;-) This one tells a better story than most of mine! Not sure the foreground adds much.

Nice capture, great sharpness and DOF.

Stunning colors, the yellows/oranges of the leaves are so uniform and strong. I love the motion of the pic. The DOF is great.

A front on shot would have been nicer but I like the way they are parting in different directions and especially like the magnificent backdrop, gret DOF too, well done

Nice depth of field use.

Lacking interest...greater DOF would have made the antelope(?) a great part of a great image...

I like the way they're running off in three different directions - very clever :)

The whites are a little bright, but the subjects are interesting. A tad off center... which I think is somewhat distracting.

quirky I like how it isn't the typical wildlife pic.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
03/11/2009 12:58:40 AM
nice capture, I like the bokeh, but the whites are a little blown, and I would crop about half of the dark bottom, id does not help the composition of the picture.

03/11/2009 12:30:58 AM
the shadow in the foreground takes away from the rest of the shot...it just doesn't rock my boat...sorry

This looks like a difficult lighting setup. Something about the dof bothers me, as if it was done in photoshop maybe? Nice job maintaining the details in the highlights though.
