| I don't get the symbolism here. A little too deep for me perhaps. Nice lighting and detail though. Too much empty black space just doing nothing. A different crop would have helped and the two halves of eggshell a little closer together. |

| Maybe you can try to go for a slightly different background. A gradiated one would be good or maybe play with reflections of the eggshells. |

| Good overall score for originality but the shot could be improved. Maybe changing the crop and centering? Adding some nest elements, a few tiny feathers or even fallen shell bits? Better white balance too and a lighter background would have definitely helped. |

| Love the concept. The fact that the focus doesn't catch the front of the egg shell distracts me. I would have thought that in a studio set up you could have afforded a smaller aperature. |

| I remember a challenge a long long long time ago. An egg marked on the inside like this and little foodsteps walking away from it. Olga Vasilkova did that one. Wonder if this was for the same challenge :) |
