A classic shot with nicely done PP and not too much flare off the central column. Just the right amount of people so that it gives the shot scale without having it look too crowded.

The black and white looks so cool here, the lines on the ceiling and the dark clothes that everybody is wearing all pop really nicely.

Sometimes, we refuse to remember or learn from, the past. Or perhaps, sometimes we remember it, but wish to recreate it in our folly and our conceit.

So it was that they built it anew. The famed Tower of Babel, and although it was built with the consciousness of the present, they also gave it memory of the old, and it was built in testament to the power and the ability of the human spirit.

Yet that spirit could also be its downfall, and our pride and over-confidence was also our bane, and that tower that stood as a monument to excess was doomed once again, for the bigger they are, the harder they fall, and the powers of the world that strive to keep us in check will do so, and times unlooked for and unwanted, and once again, thousands of years after the first, the Tower came down once more.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments now. Wow! Great capture showcasing the lines and architecture of the museum. The B&W really lets the lines, shapes, and curves of the local stand out. I love the patterns in the roof ceiling window bends and curves. It looks like it is the crown that sits on the center portion of the building. The inclusion of the people to the scene also adds visual interest as we 'people watch' them going about doing there everyday thing.

I visited the museum last September, it is a gorgeous spot. I tried to get a photo just like this but that viewing area was closed. I find this a bit too contrasty and perhaps oversharpened but your composition is wonderful.

Interesting lines in the roof. Nice, open feel and the people help add to the perception of size.

Lovely shot of an iconic treasure, what I think would have improved this even more for me would have been to use a slow shutter speed that blurred all or most of the people, great shot though

What interesting geometry. Reminds me of Ganon's castle in Ocarina of Time. I like the rather high contrast as well, I think it works with this image. Wish the view was a little more dead center.

I've seen a simliar shot to this on Flickr - I don't think it's the same one but I like it. The border is a bit too over the top IMO

Cool shot with the ceiling and all, but it seems to be lacking something... maybe a longer shutter to show the hustle and the bustle, or different process to avoid that sterile feeling.
