 Maybe not the best technical shot I've ever done, but to me, it's the most tender and meaningful. My grandson and my old black Lab Bo are buddies. This was a fleeting, wonderful moment, which I was lucky enough to capture at its sweetest.

You really get a sense of the love between them, but I think the contrast could go up a bit.

Don't assume that because you have an affinity for your subject, the rest of the world will too. Otherwise, a good workmanlike photo.

nice interaction, But the position you shot this in not the best. I would have preferred more to the left and level with the dog, then you could have seen more of the boy, 5

Another very tender and personal picture, that likely is a beautiful memory for you, but also likely is not going to do all that well in a very public competition like this one is. I like his hurt on the knee, and how the dog looks with such love at the little boy.

I like the idea but i think that the child's face would be great to see. You got a good moment there, but there are some distracting parts like the grass e the boy's head seems a little oof. Maybe i'm wrong but that was just my opinion. Good luck, sorry if i was rude!

cute capture, seems a tad oversharpened though. the owwy on the kid's knee adds a cool element to the photo that makes the viewer feel an extra sense of friendship between the two(that they wrestle and romp together:)

Very nearly a moment of profound connection between boy and dog.

Unfortunately, while the dog is looking lovingly into the boy's eyes, the boy is looking into the dog's mouth. Or possibly nose.

Choose one from the following options:

A) Great comp! Love the colors and detail!

B) A moving image that speaks to me of the bond between a boy and his dog.

C) What's with the bruised knee? Rover better not tell mom that Billy's been skateboarding with the big kids again.

D) The comp really does not work for me, if you had cropped it a little wider and used a 10-20mm at F7.1 it could have helped.

E) Meh

F) The title does not make sense. It suggests there should be some beer in the pic, but I only see a kid and a dog.

G) This comment was not helpful. Really. It wasn't funny either. I didn't even crack a grin.
