Good composition and lighting, but overall it looks a bit soft (especially around the eyes) and that decreases the effectiveness of it all.

She looks like she is saying "Just take the stupid picture already!"

A very nice portrait, but it comes off a bit soft. There is a lack of sharpness to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. Your file size of only 50k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is robbing a lot of the detail and clarity from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (200k for this one)

Love the light on her hair. Not sure about the expression. The blue stone in the necklace adds the splash of color this needs. Very nice.

Cute.... Nice portrait, well composed. I'd be tempted to crop in slightly the RHS and lose part of her shoulder, but none of teh hair.

A pretty girl... a bit soft on the focus. I would like to have her eyes highlighted a bit either with some light reflected into them, or after the fact in processing.

i like the girls pose, but the overall photo isn't really grabbing me. maybe a bit of work with unsharpen mask, maybe some contrast. im not sure. its a good photo, but its just to getting me
