This is one of the best HDR (or pseudo HDR) photos of the challenge. Lighting is just excellent. My only nitpick are the leaves/branches set against the sky, they appear to have some artifacts, but I get that quite often myself when I do these shots.

I assuming this is an HDR image. If so, its tonemapped very well. If not, then its even better than I think it is now.

I like the composition here, I think it works really well, there's a lot of different textures that work nicely together.

A little overprocessed HDR. The sky in the center above the roof has a darker tone then on either side and looks unnatural. More unnatural light and dark patches can be observed throughout the image. Nice detail in this otherwise nice image.

Really beautiful photo. Awesome color, light and composition. It's got that painted quality to it. Just a beautiful photograph overall. 10

First off the composition is good, the symmetry pleases this OCD sufferer. Now, the only thing that lets this down a bit is the processing. To my untrained eye it looks like you have run this through a tonemapping program, maybe Photomatix? It seems the dark colours have `run` out of the roof of the chapel and stained the sky, resulting in a darkened sky that actually draws the eye more than the bright red door. However, everything else here is good, granted the shot doesnt really have a a WOW factor, but since the symmetry is rather pleasing it please a base emotion in me..

Revised vote - still a 6 - well done.

Nice shot! IMO crop the right a little bit to put the building in the center of the photo, or take a few steps to the left to place your self in the center of the chapel.

The doors make this stand out a nice straight forward record shot but taken in sympathetic lighting, well done.

Very awesome subject. I'm wondering what kind of post processing was done here though; Seems oddly dark/flat in spots (particularly towards the peak of the roof).

Love your processing here. That door is just a lucious red and screams at me in a good way. Love the tones of the walls, their textures and over all feel here. Beautiful.

Voted earlier coming back to leave comments. Wow, you did a spectacular job in the processing. The contrast in the hues of the wood of this chapel really pop visually and carry the weight of this church weathering decades of time, wind and rain. The thing that really contrast most with the time weathered wood is that bold red door. To me it carries off the idea that although this chapel may be old there is plenty of vibrancy and life left here. The red also jumps out at me as a symbolic color of love - and since this is a place where two souls are joined in marriage, it is a perfect color for a door that will open to a new path were two are joined as one in a partnership. The colors throughout this photo are bold and vibrant which also catches and holds the eye. The architecture of the church with arches and shape also holds the eye's attention.

I like how you've brought out the texture of the wooden facade. The sky I don't like as much though. Maybe if it was more evenly darkened.

It would likely be a great shot, however the over doing of the burning in around the peak of the roof just screams for attention. It would have been an 8. now it is a 5. sorry. :(

This is a very nice photo, and a really nice subject. I'm not nuts about the processing of the sky though.. It's either an unrealistic HDR effect, or a ton of burning on an overexposed sky. I still like the photo though.

A nice composition. The redness of the door really pulls my eye in yet the diagonal lines of the roof keep pulling my eye back up. The street and grass however, remain rather neglected.
