| Masterful and effective editing job. But I bet deep edits like that rip the pixels to death and leave a lot of artefacts when pixel peeping at 100%. Just curious because I tend to print large. |

| How is this not DC'ed? I guess I have alot to learn... but the colors on the wall and the water were never really there.... is that legal to add the colors like that? I love the picture I mean its great but how was it not DC'ed? |

I can't believe you pulled this image out of that original.

| This has a Gattica vibe to it. Love all the different nuances of color. Feel the image quality could've been slightly better, like the area around her hands. Perhaps the image been compressed too much? Anyway, I did enjoy viewing this shot. Nice job :) (no vote) |

| this is clearly De Sousa because no one else could pull this off. You get a 7 for sheer accomplishment. Plus another point for a complex but utterly satisfying composition of shape and color. not that you'll need my help. this smells like a ribbon. |

I'm hoping to leave comments on as many photo's in this challenge as possible... out of (currently) 1124 images, I gave 31 of them a 9. Your image was one of those 31.
There aren't many portraits in this challenge, and certainly not many "great ones". Yours however is one of the greats. I think it's the unusual setting and pose which speak to me. A great departure from the "norm" with regards to portraits. I look forward to finding out who posted this image so I can check out more of your portfolio :-)
