Interpretation of Topic: What is the HIDDEN gem...I would think the planted seed, but the title makes me think of the tree, but it is not hidden
Photography: Beautiful Job.
Viewers Reaction: I would have entitled the photo "Awaiting Spring" to point out that the hidden gem is what is in the ground. Sorry, I did not get this, but loved your photo.

nice tree, unforunately the blue sky does not add to too much to this shot. a sunset/sunrise type sky would have been more suitable IMO. Technically composition is good , the textures in the foreground helps in making this image ineresting.

A real simplicity to this image which is nice. The tree is lacking detail, which may be due to excessive noise reduction, but the picture is well balanced to the rule of thirds.

Composition is well done. The starkness of the lone tree is undercut a bit by the relatively even tones. I'd go for more drama with deeper colors and more contrast.
