ehm, its a bit shady and not very sharp,
maybe you could try enhance it a bit with post processing..

| I would have been tempted to go for a deeper depth of field to show off those wonderful feathers. i also feel that you could have afforded to boost the saturation and contrast a little - as it is the photo does appear a little flat. I suspect that the photo was taken with the sun fairly high - I have had most success with photographing peacocks when the sun is lower and the light coming from the side; it seems to bring out the colours and texture more. |

| something about your lighting makes this less rich...I know this birds colors are/or can be very bold and brilliant...something is making it flatter |

| I love the angle of this shot, and the crop of it. It seems surprisingly muted, though. I think perhaps because of the spaces in between the feathers? I initially glossed over it, but I'm glad I came back. Really nice shot, lots to look at. |

| Great colors, but the neck/head seem to get lost in the background. Lightening up his head (lots of shadows there) or using a smaller aperture maybe have helped. |

| wish the neck wasnt cropped at the bottom and i dont know whether i should try to focus my eyes on the background or not... larger or shallower DOF would cure my indecision |

| too bad the tail is slightly soft, but the texture on the body is great . also the crop is a little tight, leaving the peacock a little disjointed. |
