 Almost straight from camera, tiny bit of brightens and resize. That's it, no crop no color fix, it was just that beautiful.

I have never submited a les photoshoped photo in my life. But I love this shot more than any other shot, it has a bit of my life so nicely framed in it.

I sure am scared putting this photograph up for judging here, it means so much to me and my heart sure will be broken if it gets shot down so I am crossing my fingers hoping you all see the same thing as I do in this shot.

tough shot if you ask me, The boats are not completely still and you have to use a long exposure to capture at such low light conditions. Try pumpin up the colors and the contrast slightly to make this more interesting.

I would have scored this higher had the boats been a little sharper and the color bumped up a bit.

Classic belt of Venus. I like the star detail on the left, but there is an overall "muddy" quality to this shot.

This has a somber feeling to it in my eyes, the darkness of it and the solitude of the boats.

In the vastness that is time, on an expanse of sea, two creaking old hulks appeared on the still waters. In ages past, they had been full of life and activity, but those days were gone. Now, they simply floated there, a skeletal memory of the past that would never again be.

In the background, roaring past, was the evidence of the now, and the people on board that vessel gasped as they gazed towards the bare and decrepit hulls. They gasped in fear and awe, for as they looked, the boats seemed to waver on the breeze, and become ghostly and ethereal. Then, like a puff of mist, they were gone, the memory of their past gone with them.

The sea returned to the time that is now, and once again forgot the time before, perhaps to return to it in the time to come.
