this is one of the reasons I gave up on DP challenge a long time ago. how can a great idea like this be over looked in favor of other so clichèd ones! translation: great shot and yeah, the doodles are great too. :)

Thes are some very artistic doodles. I am a doodler myself, but nowhere near this good. I also like the chewed up pencil.

The short chewed pencil makes this picture.

And chewing on pencils, apparently! If I could doodle that well, I wouldn't need a camera!

Very nice colour and texture contrasts. The doodles are well drawn and shot and the pencil is very well modelled.

Good on the challenge. I especially like the inclusion of the chewed up pencil. I can just imagine the doodler at work. Good photographically too.

If I was a psychoanalyst I could probably tell a lot about you from these doodles! A great picture, but I feel there is an empty space at the eraser end of the pencil (maybe that's appropriate?)

Wow I like this pic. I wish the angle on the paper were a little more interesting. I don't think it's quite so important to show it dead on. Would've been cool with a depth of field focus from an ant's eye view.
