i was looking through my favorites.... and earlier today i was doing research on edward weston and this image reminds me of his beautiful composition. well done. |

just love the lines formed by the head, the leg and the neck .. its a great shot and brilliant in b&w .. giraffes have the most gorgeous eyes .. love that eye !!..:) |

Lovely capture here. Good use of B/W IMO and your focus, detail and textures are well done. The one eye give this photo the balance it needs to work. Nicely done. |

The crop makes this look SO odd! Pleasing but odd, as though body parts were coming in from all sides. I love the unusual pov of the giraffe's neck, and those eyelashes! Great detail and sharpness, love the b/w. |

This is just wonderful, it seems to capture, utterly, the quirky essence that is "giraffe". The disconnected neck, the dependent head, are just SO right :-) Good luck with this. |

i like how the giraffe's neck goes off the page, leaving it up to the viewer's imagination to fill in the rest. Love the asymmetry of the body here. I like that you used B&W as well, though I may be biased as it is my favorite form of photography. Overall, lovely image. |
