 This retired veteran enjoys spending time on his favorite hobby, wood carving. He creates wood sculptures of marine wildlife and waterfowl. Here he shows me one of his many work benches, as well as a bird currently in progress.

I like the light sepia tones, and the "clutter" that he works with. Rather than being distracting, I find it adds to the charm of the shot.

I would have liked to have seen an image of him working, instead of looking into the camera. Anywho, good shot, nice use of sepia. The depth of field is sufficient for this shot :) Maybe try and get more of a range of colors in the final result

It might be easier to see the sculpture if it weren't placed in front of another piece of wood.

Good subject and location.

He seems to have been caught by surprise with makes me the viewer feel a little anxious. I would have preferred a more 'posed' pose I guess.
