 This isn't my photo. It was taken on the coolest hike I've ever been on by a friend of mine. I just wanted it in my portfolio because the memory was so special, so I wanted to be able to come look at it often.

Being a longtime Texan, I knew winter wonderlands like this existed, I just had no idea how cool it would be to be IN one :) These are my friends, Kristin and Lori, and that's me in the back.

It's kinda warm and muggy in Texas today. . . .sigh. . . I wanna go back.

I grew up in Texas and moved away when I was 30 to live in NE Iowa. Believe me when I say winter wonderlands are awesome to visit but they get old really fast when you have deal with them year after year. I still love to sit and watch it snow because the flakes are so mesmerizing and delicate but I hate cleaning it up afterwards.
