The general composition here is not interesting, it shows a habit, but doesn't really have much of a compelling story to tell or get any emotional reaction from me. That said, I like the colors and exposure, the light is nice a diffused and gives everything a nice soft cast that enhances the details.

I wonder how many people get this? Good show!

I like your horse shots, but I fail to see the connectionto the topic.....Oh, I get it.
Horses are YOU'RE habit. Up goes your score....8 which puts you in my top 28.
good luck.

I think that the habit of eating grass (maybe that is the habit here) is obscured by the crop. not much habit in this photo, sorry

habits ?

Nice pony but not a habit. Riding is a hobby not a habit. I'll grant that someone can have a habit of taking a daily ride but then why not show someone riding? This is really stretching the boundaries of the guidelines. Astheticallly, the background is very blah. There is very little visual contrast between the color of the pony and the dirt.

If it is some habit of the pony's you are depicting (eating dirt?) it isn't very clear from this shot because its muzzle is falling out of the frame. I know equines can have some very bad habits but this really isn't showing it. I upped this by a point after reevaluating it but I'm still sceptical about it meeting the challenge.

I don't think I get how this fits the "habits" challenge.

I'm sorry but I dont get how a picture if a horse is classed as a habit..good picture tho...

Confusion with riding habit? Or is it that the horse's habit is to smell dirt...? 4

In what way is this depicting a habit? What habit did you try to portray?
05/20/2004 11:35:31 PM
yup, it's a horse. And now for a "habit"?
05/20/2004 10:32:50 PM
You chopped off his nose. :(
05/20/2004 05:16:55 PM
Yes, it is a horse... but where is the "habit"?
05/20/2004 09:23:03 AM
That's an expensive habit you have there. It caused you to crop off the end of the horse's nose, which keeps this picture from being all it could be. I think you were trying to crop out a fence or feed trough, but a little patience could have gotten you a better picture. Heck, a carrot would have gotten you a better composition.
05/20/2004 08:11:35 AM
It's a shame you didn't get the nose in he photo

Sharp pic but your lucky enough to have included enough of him that I didn't have to rely on the title.
05/19/2004 06:25:20 PM

05/19/2004 12:35:44 PM
I have no idea why this is a picture of a habit. But ok... - 1
05/19/2004 12:03:08 PM
What's the habit?
I don't understand.
05/19/2004 10:45:21 AM
No real habit connection, poorly framed
05/19/2004 04:03:33 AM
Nothing to do with the topic.
05/19/2004 02:29:48 AM
I wish you hadn't cropped out the hooves and muzzle, this feels like a part of the shot.
