 Should be named 'Hoping to shoehorn a mediocre flower photo into a low participation challenge!'

However, its not too bad.

Edit - a bit complex; needed to do two stage of selective desaturation and then try and remove some nasty artifacts from shadow recovery in the leaf by cloning from the adjacent areas. The monochrome treatment to the background has been done with PS4 using the 'infrared' treatment.
