 This is Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. My hubby and I got up real early one morning to hike here with a good friend by sunrise. It was so awesome. I am not a morning person by nature, but being here at sunrise made me seriously want to become one. Here's a couple of other photos of my hubby and our friend hopping around on the rocks and ice.

I hiked Dream Lake!! There are three lakes that I hiked and that was one. We started from the base where you come in and all the elk are grazing, near the game warden headquarters. This is a breathtaking view!

Gorgeous place! I'm not much of a cold weather person, but I'd love to visit here in the spring! LOL! Of course spring probably doesn't actually start there until July.

We love Estes Park. I've always wanted to go in early spring while there is still lotsa snow left.

This is truly beautiful. I can't imagine early morning hiking in that cold, but I'm glad you did it, so we get to see your pictures.
