I think that this pillar on the left could be cuted. Like this shot, really simple but nice! Good choice for the B&W.

Don't get the sense of illuminative subject from this. Also I don't care for the left compostional lines that cut the photo. They would have been better left out.

Challenge description: "Create a photo in which your main light source is also your main subject."

It appears to me that the subject is all of the wonderful lines, but that the light source for the image is the sun, right? DNMC, in my opinion. I'm sorry.

I scored this a 3 originally. Then I took 2 points off as in my opinion it does not meet the challenge. The source of light for the shot is supposed to the subject of the shot. If this was at night and the light was coming from the streetlamps then it would meet the challege. As it is, the source of light in this shot appears to be the sun.

Interesting, almost abstract. Nice composition and lots of interest.

I think you'll get penalised because the subject(s) are not light sources (at least when the photo was taken).

This seems to be in daylight to me so I am struggling to see ho it meets the challenge sorry

Like the composition, surprised that there are no cars.
The subjects fail to provide the illumination in this image.
