One of the things I love about staying at the McGregor Mountain Lodge in Estes Park is that the owner, who is a friend of ours, has the most awesome dog, Daisy, who pretty much just decides who of the guests she wants to hang out with (she recognized a sucker for dogs years ago, and hasn't forgotten us since). When we got there this time, I saw Daisy at the check-in lobby, and after hugs and greetings, asked her if she wanted to come up and hang out in our cabin. Unbelievably, she made a bee-line for the cabin we always stay in, and waited for us on the front porch. Throughout our stay, she would come up and bark to be let in, and then would lay by the fire with us for a while, then head out again :) I reeeeeeeeally love that dog! Can you tell? :)
My hubby's an old softie where Daisy is concerned too :)

I love dogs too,even had one named daisy (portfolio), miss her.
