 Woke up early enough to snap this sunrise from my dad's back deck with my Olympus D490Z back when it was pretty new, in November 2000.

This was chosen in a monthly contest for a (favorable) "professional" critque (similar to these) by Michael Reichmann at Luminous Landscape -- unfortunately, I can't seem to find that particular archived page.

Used several masks and Curves to bring out the color and contrast -- can't remember the other processing ... this particular version is a souple of generations away from the originally edited versions ... I can't locate the original in a reasonable time frame.

I originally had this posted in a vignetted version, but I decided to go back to the full version when I thought about it for the challenge.

Your dad certainly has a nice view! I love the mountains too and nothing pleases me more than seeing them.
