I think this would look wicked as a print. Really appeals to me!! |

All mood, yes. What is startling and revelatory to me is that I need to look at it from further away, and this brings everything into question. Like reinventing impressionism.
ETA: And what if you did make a big print - it might be awesome.

Great colors and grain. From the thumbnail I thought it was from the current Pinhole Side Challenge. |

Yes, you did the right thing to crop this! Of course you probably knew it would tank with voters anyhow, but I'm glad you entered it anyway. Something nostalgic about the woman in red and the blur/grain. |

Don't worry about the score - this is an excellent example of blurring photography and fine art. The tones all work together to convey an emotion. This reaches deeper than even conscious emotion, and tugs at the subconscious mind. |

An abstract, but I'm not getting what you're trying to convey... |

This actually looks like a pinhole to me - whatever it is I like it. |

Lovely tones and shapes in this. Subtracting detail adds so much, sometimes! |

Amazing that a simple glimpse of red always brings to mind 'Don't Look Now'. I like the graininess of this, the sense of a glimpse and then a missingness; like catching something out of the corner of your eye, and when you turn, it's gone. |

I guess this is "artsy" but I'm afraid I can't score it very high, not my cup of tea... |

I think a shot like this only works if you know what it is without the title. |

This might be appealing as an abstract image, I assume the lack of focus is intentional. The image is probably good, but it just doesn't appeal to me. |

I love this picture! I used to only like "in-focus" pictures, but lately I have greatly enjoyed the artistic pictures being posted by DPC'ers. I am really starting to vote on the artistic feel for pictures and I think this one is great! 10 |
