I think you could have kept the movement in the arms and left the face/body in focus with a shorter shutter speed. Good composition though, it was clearly a good performance!

Abstract is: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness

Only thing that's in there is the motion.

Although one doesn't always have control of these things, if she (her body and particularly her face) were more in focus, it would have enhanced the sense of motion in her hands/drumsticks.
