 This is my first submission to a challenge on this site. I had taken a photograph of a moving bus next to my home before the challenge was announced, and then I set out to somehow shoot a similar photo - and I shot this one.

I like the choice of black and white conversion because it simplifies the image. Main street can compete with pride against the "parade of lights" at Disneyland.

Abstract is: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness

There's motion, but too little abstract. I think if you had cropped out the three persons in the lower right corner, it would have fitted the rules a whole lot better.
