Well, the motion is there but it isn't very abstract. It is a very nice picture, but not for this challenge.

I would have loved the bow hand to be in this too, or for the cello to also be moving

Very nice shot. But I've been using the definition: "Of, relating to, or being a style of art in which natural objects are not represented realistically." With this in mind, it really doesn't fit abstract, IMO.

Abstract is: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness

There is some motion, but it's lacking the abstract.
