this was just before dinner last night ..
lauren was studying and i was feeding the bird grass seeds from the 'garden' with one hand and taking photographs with the other ..
thought i'd go for a bit of blur for a change .. :)
the comments certainly give new meaning to the term budgie smuggler ..!!!
ps .. budgie smuggler is an ozzie term for a pair of men's swimmers that are very revealing!!!

this is another one taken at the same time ..

Tee hee. . . what a clever optical illusion. I too thought it was a bird posing with a bikini bottom until I read some of the comments and then "saw" it for what it was. And I think it is very clever and fascinating. Everything you do fascinates me.

OMG! I finally got it. I didn't comment yesterday, because I thought it was something else, and I was speechless. Great shot and processing.

you most definitely have no boundaries. a very straight forward approach from you still is bewildering. i do like this over the other because of the subtly of lauren. great as usual!

Nicely connected scenes in this shot Roz, Your little birdy buddy focused on the fresh grass seed, and your Lauren focused on her book work. It took me a sec to sort out the illusion created by your hand in the foreground. It's good to see them both doing so well. This isn't "Bikini Bottom". That's where "Sponge Bob" lives.

I will not voice my comments on the Bikini bottom. I do like the little bird. Very pretty

A nice tender shot. Sweet little budgie.
After reading the bikini bottom comments I'm giggling. I didn't read it that way at first, but I sure do see it now. Just as well you didn't crop out what you have blurred.

Jeanne.. haha, I can see your point on the bikini bottom. It didn't occur to me until I read your post but, I took the time to really study this and I could see Lauren's face in the shadows. This is an excellent example of Roz's unique ability to merge photos together and create something totally different and at times, unusual. I was intrigued by the thumbnail and just had to see what this was. The blur creates a wonderful focus on the bird which is so pretty. Looks like a little parakeet.. beautiful white feathers with subtle markings.

Hmmm, Roz. At very first glance ... your arm and the shoulder ... looks like a bikini bottom. I thought you were going into the suggestive photos for a minute there.
Now that I figured it out it is much more tame!

It's odd, yet touching. What's the baby eating? Leaves?
