Challenge: Fauna III (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D80
Lens: Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5- 5.6G ED DX
Location: San Diego
Date: Mar 25, 2009
Aperture: 1/4 sec
ISO: 100
Shutter: f/5.6
Galleries: Nature, Animals

Uncropped. Some levels, hue/sat, and selective color, resize, smart sharpen. Blur is caused by motion- both by the subject and the camera during the exposure- there is not any texture added to the picture. The color comes from being shot in infrared- it was mostly desaturated for this copy.

Woefully underappreciated. I normally do not like infrared, but you do it so very nicely.

I love this shot! What's wrong with people! Frame it and hang it proudly on your wall, I think it's great!

Too much motion led to some unfortunate double imaging on the foreleg that just makes one's eyes water trying to find resolution.

This is probably getting hammered, but I love the artistic feel here. It is getting a 10 from me. It's great!
