I met this fellow on Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis. It was a cold day, probably 20 degrees. I stopped to say hello. He let me take a few shots. I forgot to ask him his name before we parted ways. I feel bad calling him a lonely stranger but the mood of the photo with his hood up and the shadows lends itself to something a bit eerie.
Post Processing
Unfortunately the eyes weren't razor sharp and they need to be to make this shot, so I had to do some sharpening heroics.
Lightroom 2 - B&W, exposure, recovery, brightness, contrast, clarity, curves, sharpen, vignette
CS4 - lots of dodge & burn to emphasize contrast on the face, brighten the eyes, several rounds of sharpening, border, save for web |

| Nice vignetting to draw the focus on the eyes. It looks like there is some uneven smoothing or sharpening in the face(especially the cookie duster). Maybe its just me. 7 |
