great catch. Wish there was a little more of the tail in the shot but its not an easy shot so sometimes we get what we get. Maybe increase the contrast just a bit though.

Very nice photo, I have seen the blue color on a Mallard on the ground, but have never noticed it in flight.

Like the movement in the wings in this image. Crop is a bit tight though; would have liked to see more room on the left for the duck to 'fly into' and maybe catch a glimpse of his tail and wingtips too.
