 This is a really nice girl named Rossana (which I nearly titled it...you know, Rosana by toto). We were at my friends baby shower. I don't know her, but she's so pretty I was like, "Hey, can I take your picture?" Luckily, she was very happy to pose. She's also 3 months pregnant and asked me to do her maternity photos when the time comes. That's me, always networking ;-) I love the way this turned out. It looks like I used off camera lighting, but I didn't. All completely natural light. The place had awesome floor to ceiling windows.

Great expression, simple color pallette is very striking, nice exposure to balance detail in her dark hair and eyes without blowing out the background. I like the crop and framing as you have it. Great shot. My favorite so far.

She most certainly is! Photographing a girl/woman is hard work, and you have succeeded. The colors, depth of field, model and her makeup, it's all very nice. Although, I would like to see the rest of the head. I also think that somewhat more excitement into this photo would help. As it is now, many might say it's just a good portrait.
