Greetings from the Critique Club!

Well I agree with the voters and commenters. This is a breathtaking shot. You did a great job bringing back detail with the tone mapping. I love that the photo keeps my attention. My eyes wander across the bottom, along the bridge, and through the sky line, exploring the scene.

I agree with MemberTygerr that breaking the skyline with the hill in the background would have made it stronger. Currently, the sky almost looks like a gradient border. If you're skimming past the photo, I don't think you'd realize just how amazing that sky is. If you were to re-shoot, I wonder if you could get lower, and maybe even bring the radio tower on the right, above the sky line? It's a great scene. I'd be shooting it all the time if I were there. =)

Obviously you met the challenge well. I can't really think of anything else to improve this photo. Except perhaps taking it earlier in the evening to capture even more of the detail. But then again, the night shot really gives it a great mood. Nicely done.

Nice shot. I think it might have been a bit stronger if you'd broken that red line on the horizon.

I was thinking something like this for "Paradise City" (Guns'n'roses), but decided on something else. It's a brilliant shot that matches the title very good. I could say it lacks rock'n'roll feeling, but it doesn't matter. Title vs photo, brilliant! Shoot one more for the postcard challenge! 7
