 Taken on my between two jobs and my first time in Newcastle.

This is the "Angel of the North" and sits looking out from just south of Newcastle. I was travelling down to Derby after a days work in Ashington doing stills photography for a filming company and was passing around 6:30pm just as the sun was gong down. So I quickly nipped off the motorway and stopped for 15 mins to get some pictures.

This is a HDR combined in Photomatix, 3 shots around 1 1/3 stops either way of 0. Tonemapped and then taken to photoshop for resizing and work on the colours, levels, and curves.
