 The scalar mother is guarding her roes in my son's fish tank. The picture is taken handheld, processed from raw, layers with levels, saturation and curves added. Noise reduced by NeatImage, cut, resized and some USM.

There is something magical about this shot, the way the fish and the algae are just floating in space. The lower piece of algae is barely visible and thus a little distracting, but nice metallic finish on the fish.
