I'm afraid I will have to be a nitpicker on this one. Seems a bit soft through the whole image, and the capitol building is in shadows, no doubt from a cloud passing overhead. I'll bet a few minutes later you may have gotten the sun breaking through and hitting the capitol just right.

Nice sky, to busy with all the people IMO. The Capital building should have been in the center IMO.

VEry postcard. Questionable otherwise, what with the over-saturation and the building itself being poorly lit, but that works for a postcard. :)

Too busy, too much sky. With the title Capital Building, the Capital Building doesn't seem to be the main subject. It gets lost in the composition.

For a postcard I think the subject is too far away and too dark.Too much sky takes away from your subject.

The appropriately lit foreground does not work with the over dark background at all. The subject also appears to be more the National Mall rather than the Capital building. It's an unfortunate effect of the situational lighting - otherwise it might have worked. It also would have helped if the Capital Building was more centered in the image rather than offset.

Looks pretty out of focus. Maybe a post card you might find in someones attic from years ago. I also dont like that you didnt add text.

i typically prefer night captures of the capital but the dark gloom of it in this picture may actually speak some truth about the people in there ;)
