Whatever it is or isn't, I do like it. It's a dreamy glow that the optic brings to an already peaceful subject. Nice work!

Good question Brian! Yes, the Lensbay has several optics with lenses in them and you can swop lenses at will (cool) they also do a pinhole/zoneplate fitment that doesn't have a lens/optic so yes, it is lensless :)

Great shot Karen and the ZP glow works really well here. How does this work with either a yellow (sepia) or blue (nightime) colour?

Looks very old-time -- like something the pictorialists would have done.

We do seem to be hanging out in the same place:-) Love the reflection in this shot! The pinhole/zoneplates really seem to convey the calmness of these scenes that sometimes gets lost in the ultra sharp world of our other lenses.

This is one I can get in to. I'm cautiously scouting a small trout stream (my favorite kind), look for a rise or a hatch or any other sign of activity while trying to remain unseen. There is probably one back there under the overhang, and its going to be really hard to get a good cast in there. I prabably just have one chance...

I'm not so crazy about the zoneplate stuff as I am about the pinhole. I don't exactly know why. It's just a feeling that it's neither one thing nor the other; not bad enough to be good, if you know what I mean? I think I need to see some more of them. I'm headed to your portfolio now, hoping to see some other examples.

Oh, I'm back already. There's some terrific shots there (including two that I'd commented on thinking they were pinholes). I know nothing, apparently. I guess it's just this shot that I'm not so crazy about. Still don't know why.
