Working out on the road is hard, especially when you are in a hotel with a dumpy gym. A few curls with the ol' suitcase and you can be right as rain!

Wish this weren't Basic Editing, as there are some things that needed correcting, but I had to leave on a trip and didn't have time to re-shoot.

Editing: Crop, white balance, exposure, saturation, contrast, sharpen, save for web.

Thank you senor_kasper. I'm not sure the image deserves your kindness, but I'll accept it gratefully! I lit this in my bedroom with 2 strobes. There really isn't any ambient light to speak of in this shot. Main light was camera right through an umbrella. The other light is behind me (subject) and the chair, shooting into the background, which is a hanging white sheet. I have a grand total of about 10' to work with between camera and back wall, so there just isn't enough room to really maneuver - hence the foot getting cut off and the blown out highlights. When I had the background strobe on a lower power setting, you could see the wrinkles in the sheet, and I couldn't move far enough forward to compensate for the need to blow such harsh light on the background. I just ran out of time to solve the problem for basic editing, so I just went with what I had. Hopefully someday I'll get a little more space and I can set up a better lighting solution!

Thanks again for the comment!

Thanks for the nice comment though. I appreciate it.

Considering the hasty execution this is an excellent product, specially for basic editing, I definitely do not think it is 'poo' at all. The lighting is most intriguing, it appears as though you had a large and bright window behind, hence the overexposed background, but, how did the back of the chair get such a heavy dose of light?

Heh - I don't think it's "poo" - I think it's an excellent take on the challenge and definitely different!

Ha! Thanks Connor. You actually have to be a pilot to have the uniform, which I don't recommend. The job sure isn't what it used to be. Interesting shot. I find the back of the chair too burnt out but it's an interesting take on the challenge nonetheless.

I like the idea, I honestly think people did not read the actual challenge theme and posted while they had a seizure. This I can see with a story of "working out even if your busy, you can find a way".

Yes, I can see this in a brochure on how to improvise a workout. Concept is good.

I'm not sure why there is such a hot spot right behind his bum, but it looks strange to me. Also, cutting his foot off right at the ankle like that appears weird to me. I like the idea of this shot though, it's clever.

Clever and unique way to demonstrate how to stay fit with the tools at hand. This would make a great motivational poster for any number of concepts. Solid detail with a subtle touch with the chair back fade. The focus could be just a touch sharper, but it's fine as it is. Well done.

Seems a little blown out on the left. Creative idea though!

I'm struggling to see how this meets the challenge.
