I have to agree With both michaelmonn and riewis. When taking photo's of flower's try to go out early in the morning or later that evening when the light is not so harsh or carry a defuser (a piece of shade cloth). As far as cleaning the flower I use a make-up brush to clean off the flower. |

i agree with rlewis that this flower either needs a bath or alot of cloning in PS but i will say i like how it is back lit sometimes back lighting can produce really awesome pictures because of the differences in translucency of different parts of the flower itself |

One of the keys to flower photography is picking the right flower, this one needs a bath. You will get prettier images from flowers which have just opened and not faded and had debris thrown up on them. |
