Converted from RAW via ACR, straightened, cropped, cloned out an (enormous) dust speck, shadow/highlight to bring some highlights out, levels, resized, increased saturation, did some burning and dodging of the sky and sand around the shell, curves, USM for LCE, noise filter, added border, added text... whew, did I forget anything? |

| I like the background scene, the shell looks like it was illuminated with flash, and that part does not work for me. |

| The drop light effect is very clever and the subject is properly illuminated. I like the DOF control. The font is perfectly placed and stands out. The highlights on the shell are a little distracting, but not so that they have a major impact on the overall image. Nice conept and good execution. |
