No April Fool's joke, this is a real hornbill in flight with a papaya slice

I love this capture !!! Does NOT matter if this does not do well. A once in a lifetime capture as far as I am concerned. I have been attending the show a couple of times now (as they have trained exotic birds flying) but this is the first time I have seen the bird do this. This was captured while this hornbill was performing in a bird show. The trainer threw the papaya slice up in the air and this bird gracefully caught it Managed two shots and this was the one that was sharp.

Hope you all like this !! , Seeing the real bird in action is a must, the shot does not do justice at all. Amazing.

Fabulous shot! It's an awkward bird, but the image is not, and you got robbed on this one.

Wow. Andrew you got robbed! This shot is incredible.

If anything I think it likely got hurt in voting because it was too perfect.

A solid image that is crisp, sharp and properly framed and composed - a technical success in every way. From an artistic standpoint, it has significant impact being richly colored with excellant detail. This image would have worked as a black and white as well. A perfect demonstration of the power of properly controlled light and focus. A top ten image and a very strong contender for a ribbon. Well done.

Great capture, clear clarity from the tip of his wings to the tip of his other wing tip.
