This is a plant, don't even know its name, but its leaves are silky and symetrical. When I first read of the Texture challenge, I thought of this plant right away. But since at this time of the year the leaves are getting ugly (I'm in Argentina), I thought I'd take a close up pic of two smaller and newer leaves. This was taking in the shade, but with more sunlight reflection on one side (bottom, whiter) Then, working with PS, I tried different editions, and I came up with this, after playing with Hue/Saturation. I thought it would make it more interesting. I also used USM, B&C, and finally cropped it and added the black frame on the top and bottom so as to make it look like a movie. |

| Unique - an image that demonstates the subject matter of the challenge in spectacular fashion with excellant DOF and color control from an unusual perspective. Both a technical and artistic success that more than adequately meets the challenge subject in particular with the color shades. A very worthy contender for top ten honors and a possible ribbon contender. |
