| Although it is textures I don't feel like that is the subject. Not dnmc and not a bad shot but there are so many in the challenge that scream texture as the subject of the shot. |

| The author's intent is plain and interesting, but fails just short of being an effective way of envoking texture. A tighter shot sans the branch would have helped convey the sense of dimension that a texture shot should have. As a fauna image, it's excellant even with the branch in the way. |
