Comments Made During the Challenge  |

| Not sure how to comment on this one. It isn't a bad shot technically and it certainly meets the challenge but it isn't very interesting to me. Some of the shots I like in the challenge have somewhere interesting to rest my eye while the major portion of the shot is about texture. I suppose that would be a way to add interest here. Maybe take that rock that's off to the right and put it more into the shot? Or a flower? |

| The best 'bark' shot in this challenge for me. Nicely lit and well framed with the green at the top and bottom. |

| nice shot. color, contrast, etc all look good. i like that you included the grass for a splash of color |

| A nice effort demonstrating texture in the natural world. Interesting blend of color. It might have worked better a little closer concentrating on the log eliminating the grass in the foreground, but it works as it is. A good effort. |
