Oh my gosh. Why am I entering this??? I guess just for the sake of participating. I don't expect this to do well, and I hope I don't scare any kids!
Shot on macro with a Canon G9, Canon 580EX flash off camera via cord, lit from below and out front.
I did not shoot this for the challenge, but was just playing with creepy faces for fun.
Post was a few small, global adjustments in RAW. BW conversion via Channel Mixer in CS3. Levels adjustment, crop, resize, and sharpen twice (unsharp mask at 30, 1.5, 1 and again at 80, .5, 0). Save for web.
I don't care if I get a bad score. If I can make one person chuckle, then it is worth a 4 point something! |

| Very clever and highly amusing - an image using texture to convey a sense of fun and self awareness perfectly executed. A sure fire blue ribbon contender and a personal favorite. Well done. |
