The look is definitely washed out, but I don't think it's worked perfectly. I read a good tutorial about achieving that sort of effect in photoshop, might be what you're looking for:

Sixties, right ... I think the colour film technology around that time (ask Bear_Music if it's at all interesting) was still working on getting strong reds. Old National Geographics reveal some. This photo works well - I wonder if you could have backed off the reds a little or shifted the hue towards the cooler end? Not for the overall effect, which is good now, but for experimental sixties authenticity... |
