 I cut the pencils to length and then glued them together, all except the front row. I didn't want any of the front row raised up from the mirror. Did a little selective dodge to blend the mirror line into the background. Adjusted sat, brightness, Noise Ninja, USM

Don't know if this shot really works. The bluriness, especially at the bottom actually seems more distracting than anything and the image is a tad abstract for my taste.

good idea...well done, would a softer light source on the background have made this not so harsh?

A very creative look at colored pencils - the image meets the subject matter and with a certain cheeky attitude. A terrific demonstration of the creative process in meeting the challenge. Should be a sure bet to win a ribbon or place high as a top twenty image. A couple of minor detail problems not worth mentioning because they don't appear until you really get a critical eye and examine the image closely. Well done.

VERY interesting. How did you do this? Was both ends of the pencil sharpened? or two different pencils? Although now that I'm looking at it the bottom pencils all look really blurry guess it really is a reflection? either way it plays tricks with my eyes. :P
